Dear Aunt Ramona and Family,

I am so glad that I was able to bring my mom (Veryl) by the last time we were in Iowa. We were both delighted to visit with Don and Ramona and some of the family that day. Mom remembered when she saw them and and gave them a big grin and hugs. I miss mom and dad very much, as I know you do Don. I am praying for your family and especially Ramona. It is a joy to know he is in heaven Romans 10:13.
Love, Joyce

Don, you were my favorite uncle, your humor and wit were your gifts, I will miss those many phone calls we had to each other when the weather was bad, snow ice, flooding we talked about them all.
Thank you for the many calls you made to our house over the years to check on Mom (Helen). She loved you dearly, and now is waiting the day that she can join you in heaven. Please do not give those angels a hard time, they probably said here he comes, God's special man, he took away the mold after he made you, there will never be another you, love you with all my heart . Your niece Karen ♥

Ethelyn seemed to have magic in her fingers. I enjoyed her piano playing at Von Maur immensely and had the pleasure of working with her at customer service at College Square Mall. She had remarkable wit and intelligence and a fine sense of humor. She was a remarkable person , enjoyable to be around, easy to work with, and is missed. Her presence was a blessing to us all.

I will always remember the great times I had with Ethelyn. We became great friends and could sit and talk and laugh for hours. She became a special part of my family as well. My Mom and Ethelyn would sit on many Sunday evenings at my kitchen island visiting while I cooked. She always loved teasing my husband and giving me static as well. It went without saying we went every year to the Shell Rock Swing Show and had so much fun. One year I left to tickets at home and we had to fly home and back ( we did make it on time) she would never let me live that down and she would never let me be in charge of the tickets ever again. I have great memories and will always have a special place in my heart for her. My thoughts and prayer are with all of her family. She will be missed

I had the great pleasure of working with Ethelyn at College Square Mall. She worked as a pianist at the Von Maur and also at the Customer Service Desk for the mall. Ethelyn was a lovely lady. She always had a kind word, a loving smile and a great outlook on life. I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to know her and know she will be missed.

I'm sorry but I don't know any of you on here. I just read about the accident. It breaks my heart to see someone so young with so much to offer, be taken. May God be with you.
